Body Battery

Hi,

Can someone tell me if the body battery works/updates if I go for a run only using my Forerunner.
When I come back home, I use TrueUp to sync all data and change back to my Vivosmart.
Will the body battery indicator will changed by the workout? Or do you need to wear the Vivosmart for it to take effect?

When I wake in the morning my body battery has dropped from the night before. This morning it says 5, last night it was 28. I thought that a good nights sleep is supposed to charge your body battery not the opposite. Also my stress level is med to high all night. It has been this way since I started wearing the Vivosmart 4, about 2 weeks. Is this normal or maybe I have something to worry about.
  • How tight is the watch worn over night?
  • that seems like a really odd situation. you should be recharging generally with good sleep. perhaps try resetting the device and wearing it a bit more snugly while sleeping.

My body battery usually just hung out at 5-7 most of the time. Highest it ever got was 70.

After getting tired of the crashes and the other issues with it, like the humongonormous calorie overcounts for me, I went ahead and returned it to Target. Not sure why, but the All-Day Stress, HRV, and Calorie Counts are all way off on the VS4 compared to a Fenix 5+ series (wife and I switched after massive frustrations with the bands).

You lose body battery, and you end up giving Garmin more money in the end, but it works WAY better and seems to have a more robust support response to bugs.

It has been a couple of months since my last post. I have had no deep sleep, not 1 night, since I started wearing my vivosmart4. I wear it loose I wear it tight, reset it, wear it in various positions, even changed arms. The latest question is, I have been getting shocks, little shocks and have had to remove the device completely because I have scratched so much my arm bleed. I have read that it could be because the air is dry and it’s static that is causing this. Anybody else receiving shocks
  • Poof with all that going on, I suggest calling Garmin support. This is something they would want to know about.

What about the activity tracking? They double the steps and activities or not? Which one trace activities?

When starting sport I think I must start only on 935 right?

When I'm not using VSM4 (i don't know how to switch it off) and using 935 should I change the preferred tracker?
