I used to have a Vivosmart HR+ but found the all-day heart rate recording (i.e. not during activities) of limited use as it samples heart rate very infrequently when it thinks you're not moving much (e.g. sat down or while sleeping). I understand that the new Fenixs do this much better, recording high resolution data all night. None of the reviews up to now seem to have discussed this – does anyone have any practical experience on this front?
Thanks for the reply! Sorry, I should have made clearer that I was asking about the vivosmart 4. Does it have the same improved sensor and recording frequency as the Fenixs have?
Well, you asked about fenixes, so I figured you were interested in one, and made me wonder why you post in the VS4 forum. Anyway, yes, the VS4 has the same sensor, and does 24/7 HR measurement with a 1-second interval.
