I'm pretty happy with the VivoSmart 4 overall, but I'm missing the screenlock functionality of my previous VivoSmart. Or am I just missing it somewhere? I keep getting accidental screen responses from water :(
I think this is what you are trying to do: Using Do Not Disturb Mode You can use do not disturb mode to turn off vibrations and the backlight for alerts and notifications. For example, you can use this mode while sleeping or watching a movie. • To manually turn on or off do not disturb mode, press , select > . • To automatically turn on do not disturb mode during your sleep hours, go to the device settings in the Garmin Connect Mobile app, and select Sounds & Alerts > Do Not Disturb During Sleep.
Or, Gesture: Sets the backlight to turn on when you rotate your wrist toward your body to view the device. (On Garmin Connect app)
There's a shortcut that might help before you hit the shower. hold the middle of the display on the time/date page. then hit the Do Not Disturb. turn that on. then you won't get the gesture on
