Is the vivomove the right smart watch for me?

Hi - long time Garmin enthusiast here, back to the GPS-III in the mid 1990s. Given that Garmin products are apparently now limited to "Outdoor Recreation" and "Sports and Fitness",  that may already answer my question.  But since there are so few options for true smart watches, I'd like to see if there are any suggestions.  I loved the Pebble watch and would happily keep using it forever if I could. Unfortunately, it's impossible to maintain them, so I need something new. Due to physical limitations, I do not need or care about fitness tracker functions.

 My requirements are:

  1. Supports Android
  2. Will vibrate and/or make a sound if the phone disconnects.
  3. Battery life at least two days
  4. Can display incoming calls (by name, not just number) and provide an option to answer them on speakerphone (without getting phone out),
  5. Display texts - a few "canned responses" would be nice but not essential.
  6. Can control the Android clock's alarm to snooze silence.
  7. Customizable watch face -  time/date/weather, upcoming appointments etc.

Would the vivomove Luxe (or any other Garmin watch) meet these requirements?

  • (1) yes

    (2) vibrates

    (3) up to 5d

    (4) can answer a call, but will use either phone's earspeaker or bluetooth headset but not its loudspeaker if you meant that

    (5) can display texts and there a canned responses, but I don't use them since they are not fitting my needs

    (6) no. It features an alarm though, but the watch only vibrates.
