Hourly alerts

How can we turn on the hourly alerts? My other watch is an Instinct and the hourly alerts setting is easy to find. The hourly alerts are extremely helpful.

Why is this not a readily available function? Please help!

Do you mean the move alert, which tells you that you have not moved for an hour? If that is what you are talking about, long-press the watch screen, scroll right and go in Settings -> Activity --> Move Alert and slide the "switch" right to turn it on.
