This also happened to me several months ago, and it is a known issue by Garman after 2 to 3 years apparently. I chatted with an agent last month and was told that if I return the watch with 80+ dollars they would send me a replacement one. I am hoping to hear from others who have done this successfully and have there been any issues with the replacement watch? Thank you.
I've just started to experience this too. I've had my Vivomove HR since at least 2018 so I guess I was lucky that I got so much out of it if 2-3 years is the norm. I'm debating moving over to the Venu 2 (it's on sale for $200 off right now) but honestly, this watch had everything I wanted right now (except A-fib notifications), so if a replacement for a small fee is available, I'll jump on it.
