When I slide through the menu or activate the touch screen, the hands immediately go to ten past ten?

That's normal.  It makes sure the hands aren't blocking the screen when you need to read it.

go immediately to ten past ten. Is this normal. I have calibrated the hands and the digital time is 1 minute slower than my Iphone. Any thoughts, have I bought a lemon? Thanks Lisa
