V02 max set up

I've just got a vivomove HR. Can some one please explain in easy terms how the VO2 works as mine says poor. I've had the divce only two days. Do I need to set something up. I do excercise and have upgraded my tracker. Any help appreciated as I'm sure the poor reading is incorrect.
  • When I got mine I recall reading somewhere to manually get the watch to test your V02 going on a brisk walk. You can do that swiping let on the screen to get to where it shows the battery and alarm icons on the left and date and time on the right, with the activity bar underneath. Long-touch on the scree until the next menu level shows (you should see the little man icon with arms up) and then swipe left until you get to "VO2". Tap on it and the swipe left twice until you see "Test Now". Tap on it and start your brisk walk. After a few minutes the watch will vibrate indicating that it has finished the test. See then what the VO2 level is. I am not sure how accurate is in absolute terms, I rely on it more in relative terms, to see if the trend is up or down.Since last April it has been trending up from 38 to the current 46, as I have stepped up my runs. Something I have noticed is that it automatically updates the VO2 value more consistently when I walk. It does not do it every time when I run.
