I'm getting this message "Reconnect to Phone" on some menus on my Vivomove HR. Garmin Connect on my phone seems to read the steps ok but the Garmin Connect web page says I need to sync. I can't find any menu to "reconnect" and it doesn't show the pairing menu. Do I need to completely remove and re-pair it?
Does trying to reconnect through your watch work? Either through the refresh under settings (on mine you hold the touchscreen to view the settings menu then select the arrows in a circle in two swipes from left to right) or through the pair now (hold the touchscreen to view the settings menu, then left to right swipe to the gear symbol, select, then select the phone and bluetooth symbol and there should be a Pair Now option.
Been though the entire settings menu and there is no option to refresh or reconnect. No pair now option either since its already paired. It did finally start communicating on its own but I'd like to be able to reconnect when I need to.
In some of these cases (i'm not sure which are relevant) the best thing is to open the phone app. The phone app may have gone "dormant" in the background if you havne't opened it in a while. In that case, aspects of communication are limited (things like weather for instance) relies on the app being active. Open up the app and then see if the device starts syncing. if that happens, you should be OK. No need to re-pair or repair...
