Swimming workout ends automatically because of the touch of the water

When I start a swimming workout, after a few lanes the watch suddenly ends the session. This is because the water acts like a finger and so pauses the activity and ends it. How do I fix this?

Hello, I am sorry to hear this keeps happening. I would like for you to restore the watch and test the activity again. If this is still occurring, could you please let me know. Sync your device first.

double-tag the touchscreen to wake up the device.
Now touch and hold the touchscreen to open the menu.
Next, swipe left or right to scroll through the menu and select the Settings, then tap the screen to enter.
Afterward, select the Reset and tap the icon to enter.
Then select Delete Data and Reset Settings.
