Vivofit Jr 3 Brightness

We got this watch for my son for Christmas. It is so dim it is basically unusable. Is there any way to brighten the screen? Otherwise it is a worthless piece of plastic on his wrist

I have the same, it’s annoying. There have been complaints about this on this forum for a couple of years but the watch is still the same.
