We also got the same issue. Tried resetting by holding the device key for 10 seconds and it solved the problem!!

Thanks. We tried this but holding the button doesn't reset the watch as it suggests online.

I also have this issue. I have changed the battery, reset the Vivofit, re-snyced with my iPhone and still nothing. The step count indicates 0 and all the other options can be scrolled through. We bought…

We had the same issue and I contacted customer support in the US and they diagnosed it as an accelerometer issue and sent me a replacement unit.

I'm having issues here too. I've replaced the batteries, tried to hold the button for 10+ seconds, I does not reset or turn off. It's still not counting steps or activity.
