Can't reconnect Vivofit Jr

Hello,
I got 2 vivofit jr for my kids, and I had to send them to Garmin for support.
I now have 2 new vivofit jr and I try to add them to my kids profiles on the Vivofit Jr app.

The bluetooth pairing seems to work fine, but then it fails at the "game syncrhonisation" with a network connectivity error (can"t connect to server)

Do you know what could be the problem ? I got several Garmin products, and it seems that servers are OK.

  • I tryed to link the vivofit bands to a brand new profiles, and it works well. I got the same kind of screen, and even the last one "game synchronisation" was working fine. So, to me, it's not a connection issue, but it's directly linked to the data.

    I guess, there is a bug in the vivofit app when it tries to get existing profiles. My kids were using it since more than a year, I suppose there's a lot of data to retreive in the game configuration, maybe it's to huge.

    I am having the same problem with a new vivofit jr that i just bought for my daughter. Seems to pair, because the vivofit jr shows up on the bluetooth list as connected. But the app never gets past the sailboat screen where it looks like things are trying to sync up.

  • Exactly the same.
    I called french support team, but they have no idea.
    Finally, I created 2 new accounts for my kids and it worked fine with all the phone I paired. But I had to reassign tasks and credit their point (don't know about the adventures if it's new ones, or if they restart from scratch)
    And I will delete old profiles when everything is copyed.

    Experiencing same issue where new connection of new device doesn't get past sail boat, comes up with network connection error. Any ideas where to go from here please? Have uninstalled app twice and changed passwords. My Connect account is working fine but can't get this new device sorted.

    I didn't get any solutions for that issue. The only thing that worked in my case, was to create new profile and pair the new band.
