Chores reminders

Does anybody know how to really disable a reminder for a chore? Deactivating the reminder in the app nor deleting the chore did help (of course, the changes were sync'ed to the device).

Now, we have a Vivofit Jr. 2 without any chores defined but which still sounds reminders.

Any help greatly appreciated.

PS: Alternatively, does anybody know how to factory reset the Vivofit Jr. 2?

Same issue here. Alarms for chores still going off even though chores deleted and then synced the app and watch. Can’t figure out how to hard reset it either.

I have this issue as well which is now infuriating. Christmas present that will be getting returned not fit for purpose. Anyone know how to resolve this?
  • Not sure if this can help, but I managed to "reset?" the device (step and coins back to 0 etc and need bluetooth re-pairing to the app)

    To do this I did:
    - Sync your band to the record the steps etc with the app (manual Sync)
    then
    - Long press and go to the "i" in a circle menu (info). Long press to get in that menu, This will display the firmware version and some sensor data...
    - Once the Firmware version is displayed, keep pressing on the button down... The screen will change as "Firmware + sensor data" -> "Watch" -> " xxx RST" (not sure anymore what was exactly written on that Screen) Release the button at that stage (or press again, don't remember).

If successful, the band briefly displayed the Garmin blue triangle logo (about 1-2 sec) and then the steps screen back to 0 (no picture behind the steps, etc)

Then I needed to re-pair the band with the app and do a Sync to put the coins, alarm, icon, and time (24/12hr) back on the band...
You will lose your steps for the day on the band (so, what you have done prior to the "reset?" simply doesn't display for that day, but they will be on the app). The band may not add the new step to the app as the app has more step than the band already... therefore better do this in the evening so that you don't lose too many steps for the day.

    Perhaps worth a try?

BTW, my son's Jr.2 is still stuck to firmware 2.20...
