Connect kids of connections

My son has VF Jr. The app works and he can compete against myself and other adult connections that I allow. But the adult connections he competes against have kids with VFJr also. Is there anyway to connect the kids to compete? I.E. My brothers girls have the VF Jr, my brother and I both have garmin devices and use Connect Mobile. In the Jr app he competes against myself and my brother, but he wants to compete against his cousins.

Any suggestions?

I want to know as well - my daughters whole class has these and we’d like to have them on a leaderboard.

AGREED!!!!! We bought the VivoFit JR 2 for my son for Christmas and got others to buy if for their kids too. The ENTIRE reason we did this is so the kids can compete amongst each other. It is not meaningful to have my 7 year old son compete in a leaderboard against MY ADULT Garmin Connect friends (many of whom do Marathons so their step count is just demoralizing to a kid!!!).

This needs to be updated within the application - So Disappointing!!

I'm debating on trading it for a vivofit3 and using 3rd party child sized bands so that I can have the benefit of data trending, move IQ and competition outside of our immediate family

please Garmin tell us how this is supposed to work.

Same deal here, my son and his friend both have vivofit jr 2's, but they cannot challenge each other, only adults five times their age.
The vivofit jr manual that's online only relates to the previous iteration of the vivofit jr app before it was updated, and is effectively useless.
