what does phone with a line through it mean?

hello.
I recently got a Vivofit 4 (after my 3's clasp broke and I lost it...) I have followed all the steps in the set up guide and so far so good, except... instead of the weather widget display, I get a green phone with a red line through it. I haven't been able to find what this means anywhere, let alone how to fix it, and preferably get the weather to work... can anyone please help me? I could assume it means it can't connect to my phone? but I haven't had any issues with auto or manually syncing with connect. so not sure.
any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

    Anyone at all??
I have emailed support but haven't even heard back from them =(
  • Is it paired correctly with your phone? Since your device needs data from your phone to get the weather, it could be trying to tell you something is wrong with the connection to your phone.

I thought it was. No errors with Bluetooth and I can sync both automatically and manually without any problems.

I have the same problem. My weather widget disappeared and now have the phone with red line. It's all syncing perfectly.  Was there any answer?

    Thank you

I have the same issue. Garmin, was there a reason or a fix for this?

Hi I have the exact same problem. Any outcome or reasons this symptom is due to?

I had this about a month ago, then I just suddenly got the weather widget back, all I do is sync it daily

    Same here.

    Come on, Garmin!

If you're going to put an icon on the watch, then include it in your user manual.

I had the same problem but all I did was pair it to a different device and pair it back to my phone and it fixed

The phone with the slash through it (in place of the weather app) on my Vivofit 4 meant that my phone was not connected through Bluetooth to my phone, even though I had paired through the Garmin Connect app on my phone.  I simply shut off my phone's Bluetooth for a second and turned it back on, revealing the option to then pair my Vivofit 4. I held the button on the Vivofit until the WiFi looking icon came up and then it paired. The watch then showed the weather.
