Garmin venu watch strap

Hi, I have a garmin Venu. I had bought a strap for it instead of the factory one but that one broke so I went back to the factory strap provided when I bought it. I keep getting a red rash that takes a long time to heal and has led to small scarring on my wrist directly under the watch. I have cleaned it multiple times but it keeps happening. It is a real inconvenience because I usually wear it a lot especially when I train, but the rash from the strap is preventing me to do so. Surely there is a reason for this? It is as if my skin cannot breath under the strap material. Any help appreciated

  • You posted in the Vivoactive forum instead of Venu however a lot of Vivoactive users have also experienced rashes from the silicone strap. I personally was sent a replacement rubber strap from Garmin long after my guarantee was over and it solved my problem 100%. They take this issue very seriously. I suggest you contact tech support.
