Requesting Assistance vivoactive3 (no music)

My father has a vivoactive 3 and I would like to know if the assistance request function exists.

I found it in the manual of vivo3 music, but I can't find it in the vivo3: www8.garmin.com/.../GUID-60CDC209-F34A-4464-ABEF-A02744CF29C1.html

I want my father to be able to ask for assistance in case of need - Is there any app to install? tks

No, not on the Vivoactive 3. When released in May 2019, Garmin only made it available on the Vivoactive 3 Music and other newer…

An illogical decision on Garmin's part.
Thank you for the confirmation.

In the GC app there is the security tab and I had also entered the emergency contacts, however, when the button is pressed (as indicated in the vivo3music manual) the watch restarts.
