Watch screen randomly fell off...

My watch face randomly fell off? I was walking in my home and wham, it falls out. I'm out of warranty so doubt they'll replace but this really should not be happening. Has anyone successfully repaired? The screen won't stay attached and is not as responsive. I'm heartbroken and can't afford another watch at the moment. Thanks for any assistance.

Exactly that happened to mine today. I bought mine in July 2020. It looks like a manufacturing issue. I'll try to contact them tomorrow.

That happened to mine too. Purchase June 20 so I’m 2 months out of warranty. The cynic within me thinks the timing is convenient!

They offered me a replacement for £78. No chance for that to happen. I've purchased some B7000 glue and I'll try to fix it.

The same just happened to my watch. It just fell out and now wont stay stuck.

This is my 3rd Garmin, the first just died, and the second got the white spot problem, now this. They replaced it each time but in fairness should all these issues be happening

I bought mine in Feb 2020, but so far I've not had any screen issues. Do you use the watch in extremes of temperature? Perhaps outdoors in winter where its below zero and very hot in the summer, causing the glue to age and fail. I think I would just buy some glue and carefully glue it back on.

I use it all the time and whilst we have had unusually hot weather there are still hotter countries where Garmin’s are for sale. Is there a maximum/minimum operating temp for the watch?!?

They have sorted mine now since there was a few of us who bought our watches around the same time and have had the same issue.

This happened to mine today so that's twice now!

I bought a vivoactive 3 in June 2020 and the screen just fell out one day in Aug 2021 as I was walking round the house. They did send me a new one as it was within the 2 year warranty but now the replacement one has fallen out a year later while sitting drinking coffee, and the warranty is only from the original date of purchase (fair enough but definitely a manufacturing defect if many others from the same date are doing this).

I will be trying some glue which I see others have done. I don't use it in water so should be ok if not fully water tight. Otherwise it's been good.

Did your glue work? I am about to try the same but not sure yet how strong a glue to use - see my recent note below

They replaced it but the face fell out of the replacement whilst I was out shopping ‍♀️ Haven’t even bothered contacting them - I don’t want another if they are not going to last. Apple it is!
