Vivoactive 3 Music - Turn off tips

Tips keep randomly coming upon my watch, sometimes early hours of the morning (my phone is on DND but not my watch). I can't find anywhere in the app to stop these?? My partner has the same watch and he never gets them..

    Activity Tracking Settings

    Hold the touchscreen, and select Settings > Activity Tracking.
    Status: Turns off the activity tracking features.
    Move Alert: Displays a message and the move bar on the
    digital watch face and steps screen. The device also vibrates
    to alert you.
    Goal Alerts: Allows you to turn on and off goal alerts, or turn
    them off only during activities. Goal alerts appear for your
    daily steps goal, daily floors climbed goal, and weekly
    intensity minutes goal.

    Hi, no they aren’t move alerts. Just “Tips” about the watch features etc.

    I called Garmin customer support and they didn’t have an answer so they told me to do a factory reset, it’s been fine since. I was trying to avoid that at first because I thought I would lose my watch face’s which was my only real concern but they were still on the watch after the reset, so it ended up not being a big deal for me at least. Settings > system > reset > reset default settings is what I did. Hope this helps.

    Mine just started popping up after I had to do a factory reset. I love how no matter what you call them about they always say oh it looks like you need to do a factory reset to fix that. Battery life was draining in under a day, this is the 3rd time I've started having this issue, CS says do a factory reset. It works but it makes no sense.

    Haven't figured out the tips yet. I get about 1 a night.

    Hi, Try Garmin connect app, settings - notifications - app notifications, turn off tip app.

    You can set a DND mode on the watch as well in connect user settings (bedtime). The suggestion of 7614071 is good to remove the tips.
