Multiple Sensors Show 0.00 After 6.64 Sensor Hub Software Update

Hello,

My hrm sensor does not work since the update on Windows. No more synchronization with my android phone either. Step sensor too. Default setting does not change anything.

id = 3318373610, software version = 8.10, gps version = 0.00, tsc version = 2.10, sensor version = 0.00, whr version = 0.00.00, connect iq. = 3.1.9

help me please - thank you

  • The very same thing happened to me today too. My watch synchronized during the night over the air and in the morning nothing worked - no BT, no sensor, no steps. What gives? Pls help

  •  when you say your hrm sensor, do you mean an external chest strap heart rate monitor (HRM) or the watch's wrist optical heart rate sensor (OHM)?

    Additionally, from the info you shared about your software versions, you have a few sensors that are no longer running any software at all (which is why the version shows 0.00).  You can attempt to reinstall the multiple sensor software versions by syncing with Garmin Express.

    How Do I Install Garmin Express?

    If that does not fix the software versions, for further assistance and options, I encourage you to reach out to your local Garmin Product Support team directly.  To do this, type "support.garmin.com" in your address bar and use the Garmin Support Center to research your issue.  Once you get far enough in the search, you will see (at the bottom of the page) some contact options, which may include Call, Chat, and Email.

    Also, are you 100% sure of what recent update just installed on the watch?  Was it the 6.64 Sensor Hub update (released December 15th) or the main 8.10 software update (released October 21st), or both?

  • Last night my wife's VivoActive 3 vibrated to say it did a sensor update, Then we saw a blue triangle, now nothing works, no heart rate monitor, won't connect via bluetooth, etc.

    We factory reset it and it won;t pair, and when I put it into test mode the sensors tests fail, accelerator, etc.

    I am certain this update broke it. Now what?

  • I am having the same issue. I have done a Factory reset and connected to a computer a used Garmin connect to see if that would help.

    I did notice that when you go into the setting > About > SW versions > sensor version is 0.00.00

    I am guessing this means the update we have received has either screwed up the sensor drivers or not installed them at all.

    Now wondering if they can be installed separately, hmmmm

  • For what it's worth, mine crashed out on the Sensor Hub update last night. The screen displayed lines and shut of. f suddenly while claiming the battery had suddenly run down to zero. when charged it and turned back on, the watch no longer registered heartbeat or could connect via bluetooth. ,  Garmin express doesn't even try to update any of the sensors that are currently reading 0.00 (Sensor and whr) In addition, the watch no longer can seem to sync with my phone. it tries but doesn't seem to be able to find it. Just wanting to add the extra information about when things seemed to go haywire
