Vivo active 3 music touch screen is not responding

My Garmin Vivo active touch screen is not responding. Already tried "press and hole the key for at least 15 seconds until the device shuts down or restarts." but still the same. Unable to do factory reset as well since unable to use touch screen to go SETTING menu.

Checking online, someone seemed to suggest that it may be due to Widget got deleted but there is no way to verify that since the touch screen is not responding to touch and swipe.

So it does not seem to be software related rather than a broken screen. I would contact Garmin support and see what they have to offer.

You can check the widgets from the connect app of course. Click the device and go to appearance->widgets

Thanks for the guidance. Checked the connect apps and the widgets are still displayed there. The touch screen still not response.

Did you try to put it in test mode ? It is described in this post below how to get it there. The first screen after button press should test the touch screen and highlight the squares.

Managed to follow the earlier post to enter Test mode. Pressed the button once and many squares started to show. However, there is no response to the screen when touched. Initial screen Squares appeared. Touched screen but nothing changed.

I will play with it a little longer with Connect Express, etc and see if I can have some effects on the touch screen. Really appreciate your time and the guidance so far.
