VivoActive 3, HR Sensor & Bluetooth connection intermittently stop working

VivoActive 3, The HR Sensor (display) stops working intermittently for random periods of time, many times for hours, then for no apparent explainable reason its starts working agin.
At the same time I alos cannot connect uing BlueTooth to my Phone to sync data. Sometimes I have connected it to the Computer and it is not recognized when connected when it is in the state also.

I purchased the watch new approx 1.5 years ago, wear it every day, same arm, same band tension, day and night only take it off to shower.
The watch is charged every 3rd day, as I walk 4 to 5 miles each day and it eats the battery tracking the activity.

The main reason I chose the watch was for the HR tracking during activity and 24x7.

Is there any help to get this resolved ?

  • Hello .  I'm sorry to hear about the heart rate issues that you're experiencing.  Have you tried a hard reset of the watch?

    To perform a hard reset, press and hold the power button on your watch.  Ignore the "Power Off" question and the assistance alert (if applicable) on your watch, just continue holding the power button pressed down until the screen goes blank.  Once this occurs, you may release the button.  Allow the watch to sit powered off for a few seconds, then you may power it back on by pressing and releasing the power button.

    If that does not resolve your issue, please sync the watch first, then restore the watch to its factory default settings.

  • Yes and No... Spoke, online to a CS rep. today and I believe the issue has been resolved.
