Vivoactive 3 music problems after 6.20 update

After the 6.20 update on my vivoactive 3 music, I have a lot of problems:

- the battery drains in not even 1 day

- the heart rate sensor stopped working

- the watch cannot count my steps or staires anymore

- the browsing becomes very slow in the watch menu

It seems that this update completely bugged the watch. What should I do ? can i go back to a previous version ? Do you plan to release a fix for that ?

I have experienced no problems after the upgrade, Typically Garmin advices to do a hard reset if you experience problems, look on the forum there is a way to set the heartrate feature before the reset to get it back into shape.

A "soft" reset seems to have fixed everything. For anyone who would have the same issue, a "soft" reset is done by maintaining the main button for 15 seconds and then turning the watch back on by pressing this same button for a few second. Thanks again hhasert !

I have the same problem described and the soft reset and hard reset do not solve it! Anyone have another idea?

I have the same situation with the 6.2 update. Heart rate feature is on but doesn't work (no green light), also suddenly stopped counting steps and stairs. I have also tried soft and hard reset but these doesn't make a difference.

I remember that that trick was to disable heartrate, hard reset the device (hold button until it shuts down) , restart en enable heart rate (or something similar, you can search on the forum).

Yes, I do that process like n times and it does not fix the error

I think Garmin should send another version update fixing all this problems, We as users should not be dealing with this

I am just guessing and collecting responses from others. Have a look there for a master reset. But I would suggest contacting Garmin Support.

You can try to see if the sensor is working in test mode (clicking the button moves you towards the hr testing screen)

I was able to clown around with usb and get test mode, I have HW revision 8 and that works fine, Still trying to reproduce how to get in test mode. It seems like it enters test mode when I reconnect the usb during the verifying the CIQ apps message. The last experiment was:

1. Remove the usb cable (stil shows charging)

2. Press the button until it vibrates

3. when it is verifying ciq apps re-insert usb
