My garmin vivoactive 3 keeps asking to pair with my Samsung a22 phone. I have to re enter the pin. I don't loose any data but I loose connectivity so don't get notifications on my phone.

Just asking, did you recently update to Android 11 ? Sometimes you need to wipe the cache partition of the phone after a major update. https://www.techyloud.com/how-to-clear-cache-samsung-galaxy-a22-5g/#Samsung_Galaxy_A22_8211_Wipe_Cache_Partition
I had this issue. In my case, it was the bluetooth trying to re-pair with a device. I called Garmin and they suggested looking for another device trying to connect with the watch. I discovered I had two devices trying to connect to the watch. My phone was paired with the watch, but when I was out of range of the phone my tablet tried to pair with the watch. When I turned bluetooth off on my tablet, the six digit pairing codes stopped appearing.
THe problem with this is that there are 2 garmin watches in my household and a suunto, with 3 phones all needing bluetooth.
Kate, I'm having what may be exactly the same problem with my new A22 phone and my vivoactive 3.
Tried all the usual things like resetting watch, removing app data, uninstalling app and even resetting the phone.
Did you manage to fix your issue? I'm very interested in any suggestions.
I have tried that, and it doesn't solve my problem.
