Touch screen not working. Anyone got tips?

Had the garmin venu sq a week and i would love it to work! Please help me. What am i doing wrong? It wont scroll or select anything on the touch screen

Could you have inadvertently locked the screen? In a VA3, the way to lock and unlock the screen is to press the side button and press the lock icon. To unlock it's the same. There is also an auto lock option in settings. The idea is to avoid your sleeve or whatever to interrupt the activity.
