HR no longer working on Vivoactive 3

I just noticed that my Vivoactive 3 has stopped registering HR data, as of a couple of days ago.  It seemed to have been working as expected until that time.  I have tried various combinations of power cycle/reset while turning the HR sensor off and on in the settings menu.  The sensor itself appears undamaged, and I have cleaned the surface to ensure that is not the issue either.  The green lights on the sensor are not on at ANY point in the power on/off/reset cycle.  I appreciate any advice/steps you can give regarding a solution.  Thanks in advance!
