Vivo Active 3 Music Charging Issue

I too had the charging issue for months. I felt like I needed to wiggle the cable "just so" or speak in a nice tone to my watch or it wouldn't charge. To solve this issue I sprayed lens cleaner into the four terminal connection on the end of the cable. I then shook the excess moisture from the cable. I then took a toothpick and depressed each of the four terminal points and made sure that EACH terminal point would freely depress and release. At first, there were two of the connections that appeared to be binding, perhaps some debris or dirt or perhaps even body oil picked up from my workouts had lodged into the area. Nevertheless, when I completed my handy-work, the four terminal points moved freely with the slightest touch. I then connected the charger to the phone and to my amazement...it was like new. I did not have to make any adjustment whatsoever to make the charging circuit function. This has been a frustrating year as I absolutely love my Vivo Active Music watch. That said, if a lay person such as myself can figure this out, I think a highly educated member of the Garmin Team should have figured this out beforehand. I cannot believe how close I came to throwing my watch in the trash out of frustration. I was moments away from going to an Apple product. On the positive side, I have a nice collection of Garmin cables for my watch as I thought each time it was a faulty cable or a cable manufacturing defect. I will be cleaning each one of these cables and use them as spares. Good luck! I hope this solves your problem like it did mine.
