Vivioactive 3 constantly freezing?

Had the phone 2 weeks ago and it froze when notifications were pushed to it. Reset it twice and its been fine until last Fri. Its not constantly freezing. I've turned off all notifications from the phone and it's started freezing on my runs. Today it wouldn't go beyond  searching for GPS. It's freezing with everything. I've connected it to the computer to check updates that was and I've resorted to a factory reset and its still the same. Is it faulty?

  • First question is whether you are using any apps from the IQ store. If so, I'd remove them and see if the issues continue. If they stop, add them back one-by-one monitoring stability along the way.

    If that isn't the case, do you sync with Express? If not, try that. 

    Third is to do a reset and start over.

    Hard Reset on vivoactive 3:

    • Press and hold the side button for 30+ seconds until the screen is completely blank
    • Leave off for a full minute
    • Press the side button again to power back on

    I've factory reset it to garmin watchface in case it was a watchface issue. 

    I have to reset every time it freezes and I left it off for some time yesterday.

    It's not working at all now, every time I touch it it freezes....I think its faulty. Its a refurbished one with a warranty and only 2 wks old so I think it needs to go back?

    Hello! If it is still performing this way after the factory reset, this device would need to be exchanged. Can you let me know where you are located so we can get this resolved?
