Vivoactive 3 firmware 7.70 issues

Since upgrading, noticed the following issues

- Watch faces downloaded from Garmin connect aren't visible at times.  A watch reboot fixes

- Battery life isn't as good. My watch is only a few months old. Previously was getting approx 7 days on some watch faces, after update its not around 5

    M'y watch is two years. Before last 7.70 update, my battery was around two days with small activités. Now only one day without activities.

    Similar issue here. My watch is two years old. Before the update I was getting 4-5 days of battery life. Now I get less than 2. Tried restoring default settings, but that didn't help.

    I am having the same issue. less than a day of battery life now when previously I would have 2-3 days without issue.

    Yes! For the last few days I am noticing that the battery life of my Vivoactive 3 has gone down significantly! I am only getting about 1 day of battery life on a full charge, sometimes even less than 24 hours! My watch is more than 2 years old and back in December 2020 I measured my battery life and I was easily getting more than 5 days of battery life. I did not measure it after that but I was getting around 5 days even a few weeks ago. But this week I am suddenly noticing less than a day of battery! I am very upset! Garmin should fix this Disappointed

    Add me to the list of people experiencing severe battery drain.  It drops about 7-8% per hour with no activities, and even more if I'm doing an activity.  It could be fully charged in the morning and I'll need to charge it again around dinnertime.

    No battery issues but terrible heart rate accuracy after latest update.

    Another user here with same issue, 5 days(ish) prior to update, now I'm down to 2, maybe 3. All with not activity.

    My Vivoactive 3 is only 3 months old or so, same issue.  Battery life improves for a few days after a power cycle, but then reverts to horrible. Also noticed that the stairs measurement and elevation gain are both totally wacko - elevation gain today with 1.5 mile walk along a creek (e.g. nearly flat) is 486 feet.  Since the update I get over 80 flights of stairs a day, when I used to get maybe 10.  Used to be only half of my actual stair flights would register, now I get 4 times as many even when I stay on one floor.
