Can anyone save a Connect IQ data field to an activity?

Since the SW 7.70 update (or possibly further back, I haven't tried editing an activity since last summer until now), I have been unable to save any changes to activities adding a CONNECT IQ data field. The default (built-in) fields all work and save, but not C-IQ ones. Any activities edited from months ago with the C-IQ data fields still work and display properly. However, any new (custom) or existing activities that I edit the settings for and try to add a data field from C-IQ show the change has been set, and also show "CONNECT IQ 1/2" in the "SCREEN 1" edit screen after adding. When I back out of the edit settings screen, and go right back in (or start the activity), I can see that my changes were not saved.

I have the same issue, anyone figured it out yet? Even a reset did not fix it.

Support never resolved it, and stopped interacting with me when they couldn't reproduce it on their end. They had me go through a complete wipe with no success, and also using their Window Desktop app to pull my data off for them to play with in their lab. They never really gave me the impression they cared, though, as the problem never resolved, and they stopped offering help.

Contacted support, they acknowledged the issue but won't fix it because the VivoActive 3 is discontinued

I found a workaround though, if you press the 'settings' button before starting the activity, you can set your IQ datafields, start the activity and they'll be there. They'll be gone next time though.
