Impossible to charge my Vivoactive 3 with charging cable

Hello,

I can't charge my Vivoactive 3 anymore. I used 2 different charging cables and it doesn't work. I plugged the charging device on differen,t power outlets and I even restored the watch to factory settings but it doesn't work.

What can I do? Is this a known issue?

No more warranty on this watch (more than 2 years).

Have you tried cleaning the contact points on the charger and the watch? I use a cotton bud dipped in isopropanol (an alcoholic spirit also works) That worked for me.

If they are both known good Garmin charging cables (test with another Garmin if possible) and all power outlets are known good (you can charge other devices), then likely there is a hardware malfunction with the port on the watch. Even though out of warranty, I would contact Garmin regardless. Might offer a fix or a discount on a refurbished unit.

Alcohol cleaning worked for me too... so far

For me the pins in the connector get stuck sometimes and using scissors to press each of them down a bit usually does the trick.
