Usually I charge my phone in the wall but yesterday I charged it on my laptop.
After the charge all my watch faces and a hiking app are gone, does anyone know why this happened?
Also I can't seem to figure out how to get them back on the watch.

Hello! Did any other data disappear? Could your device have reset? Download Garmin Express on the computer and sync the device through there and if you can let me know if your apps come back.
Apologies, I am referring to steps and activities. Did everything on the watch go back to factory settings?
I am not sure, how would I check that?
I have pretty similar problem with my FR245: often, when I charge my watch using computer, my watch face and its settings are gone. I need to re-install the watch face and do the settings again, which is really time consuming process... This is not an issue when I charge my watch using a battery bank. Seems like the garmin app on my laptop does some updates / sync and causes the problem.
Any advise on how to keep my watch face and settings when charging the watch using laptop?
Hi All,
I'm having the exact same issue.
My watch was at 38%, and I decided to charge it using the USB in the car.
When unplugging it my watch face are gone.
If the watch resetted I don't know for sure, I haven't noticed any blinking. The steps I've done are still there and nothing seems to be missing except for the watch face.
Any Assistance would be very welcome.
Thank you.
While the IQ problem is similar, it is not the same problem. I haven't had the original problem of disappearing watch face for a while. However, now I've had the IQ issue quite a few times. I contacted Garmin and they told me to uninstall the watch face and then restart my watch. I, too, noticed just restarting the watch is sufficient to get rid of the problem.
It's crazy how many different problems there are with these watches...
