Vivofit user want to evolve to a better clock

Hi,

I am a user of Vivofit 1 from several years ago.

I want to renewal it for a better clock.

I only use as podometer (usually made 1 hour walks  with my dog) and to control my sleep times.

Now I want to have a clock with HR monitor and GPS.

I have seen as cheap options Vivoactive 3 and Forerunner 735XT. As expensive option Vivoactive 4.

What do you think about my options?

I think that the Vivoactive 4 will be less expensive at the end of the year, I can wait until the end of the year for Black Friday or Xmas offers.

Thanks

Hello. I have the Vivoactive 3 Music and it is wonderful so far. Almost had it a year now. The only thing I don't like about the 4 is the sizes. For me, 40mm too small and 45mm too big. I also had the Vivoactive 3 no music and it was good but my skin didn't like the metal backing. Good luck!

  • I also started with a Vivofit 1 and eventually upgraded to a Vivoactive 1 and then a Vivoactive 3,

The VA3 is a big step up from both devices. That being said, I still use the Vivofit for an hour or so when I'm charging the VA3. True-up adds the steps from the Vivofit to my daily total for the hour the VA3 is out-of-service. The Vivofit itself doesn't show the total steps for the two devices but the VA3 does. The reason I use the VF1 is that its battery lasts forever so it's very easy.

The main possibly negative difference is that the watches are much larger than the bands so you'll be wearing a larger device to sleep. Also, you'll have to charge the VA at least once per week.
