Watch broken where the band connects to the case

Hi, my Vivo Active HR broke where it connects to the case and I have not found any replacements for it online. Is there any way to get it repaired by Garmin?

I love my watch and wish to keep using it if possible. Although it's a few years old, it's in perfect condition and pretty accurate (I've noticed in marathons/runs).

Please let me know if I could get the external cover (not a case but the plastic cover, the two points where it connects with the strap) replaced or fixed.

Best, AC.

  • Mine broke recently. If you are handy, get a cheap solder iron from harbor freight. Find maybe an old garmin watch or something with similar plastic. Use it to melt out the plastic, and work it into that break with the band installed snug. I spent about 45 minutes melting the plastic into it and leveling it out until it felt tight. Give it an hour or so to completely harden. I polished it smoother with my dremel tool and a soft attachment. For me, as far as I can tell, using plastic from another old garmin watch, it should hold up like original, just doesn't look as good.
