Notes:

  • Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Changes made from version 5.90 to 5.91:

  • Fix greens not being displayed during a golf activity
  • General stability bug fixes and improvements

Installation Instructions

  1. Connect your vivoactive 3 music to your computer using the USB cable. Download and unzip vivoactive3music_591Beta.zip. Place the GUPDATE.GCD file into the \GARMIN directory of the device. Disconnect from your computer and proceed through the update.

    Mac users: took me a while to suss this but got there in the end. Connect watch with cable and open Garmin express, sync. Quit Garmin express and open Android File transfer. Then I was able to see watch folders and drop the GUPDATE.GCD file into the Garmin folder. Hope it helps others out!

    Thanks, I'm obviously doing something wrong as not working so I'll just have to wait for the official update to be sent out. Thanks anyway.

    There is still no fix on this firmware.  My Jaybird Vistas are entirely unusable.  Please let us roll back to an earlier version if you're not going to fix this issue here!  It's a terrible customer experience to have something break, then have nothing available to fix it.

    I really wish there was a way to pin a version. As soon as I roll back the damn thing auto updates next sync. Frustrating!

    Are you even able to roll back?  I haven't been able to find an older version-- 5.9 made my headphones completely useless.
