Vivo Active Music 3 - Intermittent issue with Wrist Heart Rate Monitor

My Vivo Active 3 wrist heart rate monitor does not work on intermittent basis. When I am training and I can feel my heart pounding, the reading on the wrist heart rate monitor is much lower than my actual level. It seems to correct itself after about10 minutes, but clearly there is a problem. Can this be fixed ?

Most peaople have the same issue. The challenge is that it reads the blood flow, but focusses on cadence rather than heart beat, which will switch after a warmup when your blood vessels are more filled with blood. I bought a heart rate strap, since for a crosstrainer it rarely gets the first 10 minutes right unfortunately.
