Thanks Garmin for the Replacement!

As I posted in another thread, my VA3M case broke off at the strap hub.  A broken case is not something I expected from a Garmin watch, regardless of the fact that it was a year and a half old.  I contacted Garmin, and although it appeared at first on their online form that I had no hope of getting support b/c the form immediately indicated that it was out of the Warranty period, when I completed the form, it automatically deemed my request as a valid reason for replacement.  I was thrilled, but then wondered how long it'll take and whether or not I'd get some trashy refurb.

Well, once received, Garmin turned it around in a day, they paid the 2nd Day UPS postage back, and sent me an absolutely PERFECT VA3M that I've been testing out for a day now.  I've found no issues so far.  Although I was told to keep my original strap, they provided a new one.

Just wanted to give Garmin a shout-out for excellent customer service!  Also wanted other Garmin owners to know that they will stand behind their watches for this type of problem, even outside of Warranty.  Honestly, this makes me lean towards staying a Garmin customer for my next watch purchase.
