Latest Android 10 Update Breaks Bluetooth

My VA3 has stopped connecting to my Huawei P Smart phone since the latest Android 10 update. Initial Android 10 was fine but this week's patch has totally broken connection.

If I remove the watch from Connect and add it again the phone reports it can't find the watch.

Garmin support query has gone quiet... Anyone else have this issue at all?

Mostly the problem after a major Android update is that the cache partition is to be cleared. I have seen issues before where clearing the cache partition (google it for your device) solves a lot of mysterious…

OK. Strike this. I followed some advise from a Fenix 5 user and powered off both devices and tried again and the Bluetooth code appeared which is where I think it was stuck before and all is now working again...
