Rashes caused by Vivoactive 3

I purchased Vivoactive 3 in Feb-20. I love this device but the strap is causing rashes. I have tried wearing it a bit loose but that doesn't help. I started wearing it on other hand. I got rashes there also. HR sensor area also gives the rashes. Would love to know any remedy for this.

I've had the same issue. I replaced the band but still had a rash near the sensors. Sweating in the charging port is what was causing the issue for me. I cleaned the port and the watch, let it dry, and…

I had a rash once from the band. What I did was clean the underside of the strap and it hasn't returned.

I had this and it went away when i changed the strap from the original one to a replacement with holes on both parts of the strap.

I do clean it after a workout. But that doesn't help in my case.

I've had the same issue. I replaced the band but still had a rash near the sensors. Sweating in the charging port is what was causing the issue for me. I cleaned the port and the watch, let it dry, and put a tiny piece of tape over it before I put it back on. That worked long enough until these handy little port protectors came in.

I have had the same problem, went to the Doctor and he confirmed I had developed an allergy to the silicone in the watch. He gave me steroid cream which fixed it up and I replaced the band with a stainless steal one. After a while the rash came back with vengeance from the back of the watch. I try to manage it by not wearing the watch at night, swap wrists etc... but all this is disappointing as I love my watch and want to wear it all the time. Reason I bought it right?! I have emailed Garmin as there was no warnings about possible allergies to the silicone, if there had of been I would of spend a few bucks more and got the stainless steal version. Disappointed

I have started washing my wrist and strap with soap after every workout and that has helped me. I have not got any rashes since.

I called support. They sent me a replacement band with breathing holes on the entire band. I haven't had a problem since.

Buy a cheap nylon band online. Worked for me.

Try cleaning the Watch with Rubbing Alcohol +- 70% Every Day and Every Activity.

Some Bacteria survives in Soapy Water.
