Crystal Watch face not working.

I have downloaded the Crystal Watch face a couple of times now in my V3 that arrived today and it is not working. Had it on my HR and quite liked it. Help?!

  • There very best way to handle this is to use contact developer for crystal in the app store.  Make sure to include your email so the dev can get back to you.

Thanks for your reply. It’s actually multiple watch faces and widgets that are not working. I have done reset and factory reset, and they still will not load.

  • If multiple are not working it must be the Connect IQ SDK that is failing. I would suggest to reset the device, either a hard reset or factory reset.

Someone described deinstall all and reboot worked for him as well. I quote :

Try following those steps. It might work.

After updating latest software version, make sure the Watch Face you select is compatible to your device. Then, go through the following steps to solve your problem (Step by Step):

    1. In Garmin Connect App, go to Device Setting > Activities & Apps Management > Watch Faces.
    2. Uninstall All the interrupted Watch Faces.
    3. Sync your Garmin device in Garmin Connect App.
    4. Turn off and On your Garmin Device (Watch)
    5. In Garmin Connect App, go to Device Setting > Activities & Apps Management > Watch Faces.
    6. Reinstall the Watch Faces.
    7. Sync your device back.

  • In that case, make sure you are running the latest firmware on your device.  There was a bug in the Connect IQ mobile app where apps could be installed on devices with firmware that was too old. The 2.1 version of the Connect IQ phone app fixes that and was just released.

Thank you. I was actually on the phone with garmin support yesterday morning and an update came through on the watch, it's been fine ever since. I did download a widget that is not working but I think that's on the developers end. I appreciate your help.
