Will vivoactive 3 work with garmin approach C10?

I have a Vivoactive 3 and want to buy Garmin C10s for golf. Will they work together or do I have to buy a vivoactive 4?

The list of compatible products does not include the vivoactive 3. Approach CT10 Compatible Devices.

This really sucks, I love Garmin, love the vivio active 3, love the apps for my watch but really wanted the Ct10 approach system. I don't want to have to by the competitor, but Garmin really screwed us here. Arccos I heard is a great system. Hopefully Garmin helps me remain in the Garmin family.
