Vivoactive 3 problems during last few weeks

I've had a vivoactive 3 for a year or two now, have been using for running with no problems. Starting a few weeks ago I'd go out for my usual run (4.2km) it got an lock on gps and before I'd even done 50m it beeped and said I'd done my first lap (I've set laps to each km), it beeped for lap 2 a few hundred meters later, the the rest of my run it doesn't trigger a lap at each km. It's getting laps and distance totally wrong. In the past few weeks I've had my 4.2k run recorded as 1.54km, 5.67km, 0.19km, so when I get back I have to correct the distance in the app to 4.2km. However, the map drawn for my route is totally accurate, it's an exact plot of my route. The last time my watch correctly measured laps and total distance was on the 18th April.

I received a 7.30 update today, I checked what it fixed but didn't mention my symptoms, so as I test I did a short walk and recorded it as a run, no change however, still triggered a lap too early and then stayed on 0.81km for at least 2km.

Any body else having these kind of problems?
