Heart Rate Monitor stopped working

I have the same problem, and my Wrist HR is on. When I turn the Broadcast on, and Start Broadcasting, it displays "Heart Rate" and doesn't record anything. The watch stopped also vibrating with notifications, although the Vibration is set as High. On Garmin Connect, it is still showing yesterday's data although I refreshed it many times, uninstalled the app and installed it again. 

What's wrong and what can I do?

I've tried everything people have suggested here, but still no green light. 
Worked fine just a few days ago.  Is it because of an update?
So many with same problem, Garmin should reply here and help us out. 
Will email them and link this thread, I suggest you do the same if yours is still also broken.

So I sent my device in for service, postage broke the clock in shipping, so the display got cracked and fell off. 
Garmin was so nice and replaced my device. 
If you have issues like I had, ask garmin if it has warranty. 
If it does like mine did, send it in. Worth it!  
Garmin support is AWESOME!!

Mine stopped working too. Looking at the time of last recording it was the log ride at Lego Land, we got soaked! Went to settings and sure enough had stopped broadcasting.  All working fine now.  Thank you.
