Battery life vivoactive 3

Hi, there seems to be a lot of reports of excessive battery drain on vivoactive 3. Has anyone experienced a verified fix?

  • Hi, I'm having same exact problem, watch has been fine for months giving about 5-8 days between charges even with some exercise/GPS recording but since about 8 days ago it's been lasting 36 hours, except for yesterday when I went for a bike ride for a couple of hours immediately after charging it and it

  • Yes- same problem here. I had my first Vivoactive 3 Dec 2018- worked well for a few months then the battery was draining rapidly even when it was switched off. Ended up being sent a replacement watch October 2019- all good until a few days ago- this is just ridiculous now- I am totally fed up with this now.

  • light at 10%
    mostly bluetooth off
    7.30 firmware
4,5 to 5 days depending the activity id do, 00:40 tot 01:50

Note; after update to 7:30 my watch also had a fast drain of the battery (only one day lasting), i removed a IQ widget and it didn't uninstall, by coincidence i found out and so i had to remove it again, it solved the drain problem.

  • My Vivoactive 3 dies in two days even when powered off.

  • To begin with, I would notice that the battery monitor is inaccurate, this is the level of the hardware. Sometimes, after charging the watch, simply disconnecting it from the power supply, the indicator drops by 30% in an hour. What is to do? Nothing. I am not doing anything anyway. It so happens that the battery level drops to 1% and remains on it for another 4 hours. Conclusion - the indicator shows garbage.
Considering the above, for a third-generation device, the battery lasts acceptable, I wear the watch for more than 2 years, I charge it every 2 days with an activity of ca. 500 minutes a week and once every 5 days with an activity of < 200 minutes. 80% of the time BT and heart rate are on. It is OK to me.
