Vivoactive 3, no mapping data

My Vivoactive 3 no longer maps runs or bike rides which it did previously map. In the run app it captures distance, pace and time etc but no mapping. The sofware versions are: 7.20; GPS version 2.50; TSC version 2.10; Sensor version 6.60; WHR version 20.03.31; & Connect IQ 3.1.6.

Have you tried a factory reset?

I had this on a run. Owned the watch for 2 years and this was the first time I thought I'd use it to track a run. No map data. Turns out you need to turn the watch off and on again. Now it works fine. Very disappointing but I've come to expect that with Garmin products. They just aren't reliable, too many bugs.

You've had it running continuously for 2 years without restarting?
