This is a follow up post to my previous post. I contact Customer Support as suggested by the Garmin Moderator on the previous post. Chat was unavailable on my phone, my iPad, and my PC so not sure what their missive “doesn’t work on some devices,” means, for one thing, so I sent a message through their “contact us” form. It has now been over 48 hours and no response, and 14 days from the initial post.

To repeat original post:

Wore overnight. Have only been wearing for 6 days on and off. Check it out. No apparent reactions to watch body or band. This is what I woke up to after 7 hrs and 23 minutes of sleep. I will try all the suggestions from other users that have experience similar - washing not just my arm, but the device, wearing more loosely (I purchased silicone watch face “huggers” that slightly lift the watch face off the arm and port plugs. Just posting so other users can see and know they aren’t nuts. Again, this happened during rest/sleep. No excessive moisture involved. I do not have silicone or nickel allergy.

  • I don't know what the silicone hugger is, but if it hold the watch slightly above the skin, couldn't be Your problem caused by higher power of the HRM diodes? Because if You take off the watch or lift, the diodes strats to light more, so if they will light more the whole night, maybe it cause Your problems? That's only my conjecture...

Hello, I've had the same exact reaction after wearing the Garmin Venu. I was on the phone today with Garmin support. I've seen other photos but mine looks exactly like yours. I will be returning the product.
