Still problems with watch faces

So I just picked up a Vivoactive 3 from Best Buy for a great price on black Friday. I've been able to install some watch faces, but I have 7 or 8 still sitting in the app that say "not installed". I've installed them multiple times, rebooted, updated the software on garmin express, synced many times..and they still won't install. 

I've read all the threads and everything that has been suggested, I've tried with no luck. 

What other options can I try?

  • I don't know what the maximum number of watch faces you can install at one time may be.  The VA3 has a limited amount of memory for CIQ downloads.  Of the ones you have installed, select the one or two you like, and uninstall the rest.  Then you may find you can install 1 or 2 more to try them out  I would not recommend leaving many watch faces installed all the time.  Superfluous use of memory that the watch or other apps may be wanting to use.  Select the 1 or 2 you like and lose the rest.  I use one watch face and have chucked the rest of the ones I explored.

    Yes, thank you! That was it. I deleted several of the ones I had downloaded, did a resync, and then tried installing a couple more from my queue and it worked. I appreciate the help.

    I had the same issue except the watch face was installed but did not show up on my watch.  I tried everything already suggested, but nothing worked.  Last resort, I went to the Control Settings on my Garmin Vivoactive 3 and turned the power to my watch off, then back on again.  It then showed my correct watchface.
