vivoactive 3 music battery drain

After the s/w update for 4.90 on the V3A Music I've noticed considerable battery drain as well. I'm getting a bit over 24 hours off a full charge. I used to make it 2-3 days depending on how long the activities were I was doing with music and gps.

Actually I did not notice a big difference in battery usage. Perhaps it is related to a watch face that was impacted ? I use Rails with heart rate/seconds off and I do not see a huge difference in battery, still 4-5 days. For me 4 hours GPS (a golf match) is about 45% battery; I think it was a little less in the previous release but that is more a feeling since the rounds vary in time based on how busy the course is. So, perhaps there is a difference, but not as huge as you observe for me at least.

Same here on my VA3M. Before the update I had a solid 5 days, after 4.9 I get about 2 to 3 days.. No changes in app nor watch faces! Pleaze give us back our battery !

Contactrd Garmin and they said 4.9 would improve the battery drain :-) so no hope there, just the option to swap my device for another one , which is obviously nonsense.
