Garmin Pay passcode everytime

I've been using Garmin Pay for some.time successfully, however over the last week or so I've had to insert the passcode every time I opt to use it.  This is especially inconvenient when in the queue to get into a tube station.

I wondered if it was a security setting I had inadvertently changed or maybe it is linked to when I go swimming or have a shower with the watch on, I nearly always have to resync my watch faces, getting an IQ and exclamation mark icon before I have resynced.

Any advice would be welcome.

    According to the manual, when the wrist hr is turned on and the watch remains at your wrist, the pin code is not required within 24 hours.

    I was however being asked for the pin code even within an hour, like getting in the underground train station and then getting out of it.

    I have since emailed the problem to Garmin who has yet to reply me.

    After some update a while ago, it asks for PIN every time

    Garmin replied saying they can't replicate the problem.  They asked for my diagnostic report, sync audit report and the Garmin folder at the PC.  Will update more when they reply further.

    Garmin finally replied with a v6.7 update which came in automatically this afternoon.

    Since the update, the pass code was only being asked the first time as far as the watch is kept on the wrist and the wrist HR is turned on.

    I would therefore consider that the problem been resolved.
